Hand-made Indie Perfumes fabricated in NYC. Hellz Smellz is a 100% natural indie fragrance brand that bases its formulas on nature’s creations of feral, exotic and sublime scents. Hellz Smellz reflects an extreme range of perfume ideas, that comes out as a uniquely stamped fragrance as different as each individual. These fragrances are made with the human experience in mind, and respect for nature’s gifts.

All my fragrances are hand made in small batches and as sustainably sourced as possible. When an ingredient is not available anymore, then that’s the end of that creation and another one is born. These fragrances are complex and multi-layered, working with the individual’s own chemistry. Unlike synthetics, they can last anywhere from 4-10 hours and evolve with the individuals skin rather than staying one-dimensional.

Creating your own custom perfume is different from buying an existing one. Perfumes can give rise to memories and emotions that are unique to every individual. Choosing your scent identity uses unwritten communication and emotions that images your individuality. I don’t use questionnaires. The first appointment is in NYC and a 3 hour process involving selecting which scents you most favor. These will be incorporated in a scent that most reflects you. Once you’ve selected your favorites, I will create a scent sample and send to you to try. The formula will be adjusted if needed. The final product includes both 1 ml mini, 1/2 & 1/4 oz perfume and 1/6 oz solid. Your customized perfume will be kept where you can order refills.
